A GIRL’S LAPSE

PLEADS GUILTY TO THEFT. [Per Press Association.] PAHIATUA, Feb. 16. A girl, aged 18, who camo eight months ago from the Old Count*.}-, at the Court to-day pleaded guilty to theft at places where she was employed as a domestic in the town and country. One instance comprised a large miscellaneous collection of goods to the value of over £2l. She was committed for sentence to the Supreme Court at Wellington. Accused's name w r as suppiessed at the request of her late employer.
