CHARGE AGAINST SINGLE WOMAN. (Per Press Association.! PALMERSTON N., Feb. 15. A single woman, aged 22 years, a domestic servant, who was arrested and charged this afternoon that on or about January 19, at Palmerston North, sho did murder her infant daughter, had been a resident of Palmerston North for some months, coming from Auckland district. A remand was granted till February 17, bail being fixed at self in £5O and one surety of a like amount. The Bench ordered a suppression of the woman’s name in the meantime.
