SHOOTING
WANGANUI DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB MR B. HOLMES’ MEDAL. On Saturday the members of the above club fired the first shoot for Mr B. Holmes’ medal, also counting for the Carr Cup. The weather conditions were good. Ihe best score off the rifle was registered by Rifleman J. Paterson, who scored the possible at 800 yards. Scores:
