MURDER CHARGE
A BOY ON TRIAL. | KILLED HIS GRANDMOTHER. A SHOCKING CRIME. Received February 13, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 13. | Thomas Aitken, aged 16 years, was I charged at Edinburgh with murdering ’his grandmother. The charge read that he assualted Mrs Margaret CunningIhame at her house by striking her an the head with a poker. He afterwards [knocked her down, jumped on her and (stabbed her repeatedly with the point lof the poker, and murdered her. He I was remanded. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
