THE WORLD OUTLOOK
JAPAN FOR PEACE , WANTS INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY. RELATIONS WITH RUSSIA. i By Telerraph—Per Prewi Assn.—Copyright. Received Fcbruarv 13. 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 13. Baron Matsui, writing in the “Morning Post” a series of special articles on the world outlook, says the Japanese . voice will speak on the side of peace and international understanding. She . was convinced that the important interests she has at stake can best be l preserved by international solidarity. She will in no wise expose them to the | risks of war, except by unavoidable necessity. It is superfluous, and she has no sym- I pathy with the notion of a combina- | tio nof Asiatic peoples against Europe. Japan entertains no feeling of hostility against Russia, so long as Russia does I not revert to a policy of aggressive enterprise. Britain and Japan could I collaborate for the salvation of China. ! =======
