ADDITIONAL DETAILS GAINS AND LOSSES ITEMISED LONDON, Feb. 11. The Board of Trade return shows that the value of imports in January decreased £1.1,238,000, compared with January, 1925. The principal items of the decrease were raw cotton £9,621,000, wood and timber £1,798,000, oil seeds £1,477,000. Exports decreased by £8,670,000, mainly through the falling off in coal to the extent of £887,000, raw wool £682,000. cotton yarns and manufactures £3,209,000, woollen and worsted yarns and manufactures £1,215,000. The only notable increases were in the following items: Among imports rubber £3,582,000, nonferrous metals and manufactures £1,126,000. The value of re-exports of colonial and foreign products . decreased by £1,541,000.
