AUSTRALIAN WHEAT YIELD HARVEST NOT UP TO LAST SEASON MELBOURNE. Feb. 4. Revised estimates of tho Australian wheat harvest indicate that the total yield will bo approximately 116,000,000 bushels. The area cultivated is 10,500,000 lacrcs and tho average yield 10.7 bushels. The figures compare with 164,000,000 bushels yield and 10.819,000 acres cultivated and 15.21 bushels average yield for the 1924-25 season.
