Although the weather was unfavourable, the team had a very enjoyable tiip and was most hospitably .treated by the members of the Waver--1 ley Club. Unfortunately the individual 1 results are not available. j The club competitions now in progress are being played off very slowly. During the last week there were only one or two matches played, although, of course, the bad weather has held things up. The first and second rounds of the men’s handicap and championship singles were to have been completed by Tuesday, but as there hits been no chance of playing any matches during the last few days, Aie committee has extended the time. Competitors are requested, however, to make a point of getting their games off las soon as the weather improves.
