N.Z. FARMERS’ REPORT » The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report a very lV y yarding at their Huntcrvillc \aids on Tuesday. Entries came forward in more than advertised numbers, 4520 being yarded. There was an exceptionally large attendance of buyers •'and competition was firm right throughout tho sale. Clean, well-bred Jiambs were keenly competed for, but bidding was inclined to be restricted on any lots showing utiwai. Several pens of breeding owes came forward, hut as the majority of farmers were hardly ready bidding was inclined , to be restricted. With i the exception of one pen of these ewes : and two small pens of lambs, everyi thing was disposed of under the hammer. I We quote as follows: —B.F. woolly lambs to 19s Gd; shorn b.f. lambs to 18s Gd; well-bred Romney -wether lambs 17s Gd to 19s Id (the latter price being obtained for a nice pen of wether lambs on account of Mr Fred England); good medium lambs 13s 10d to 15s; smaller lambs 8s to 10s Gd; culls 4s 3d to 7s; 4-tooth wethers 24s 4d; 2-tooth wethers 235; ditto small 19s Gd; mixed b.f. 2-tooths. 225; small 14 and 6-tootli owes 23s 3d; smtal 2i tooth ewes 21s Gd; 4 anol 5-ycar owes ! from 20s to 225; m.a. ewes. medium condition. IGs 6d to 17s; weaner pigs | from Gs to 10s; small pips ss.
