RAILWAYMEN AT VARIANCE AWARD OF WAGES BOARD DELEGATES OPPOSE ACCEPTANCE LONDON, Feb. 1. The National Union of Railwaymen’s delegates from throughout the country at the annual conference of the district councils carried a resolution deploring the decision of the special general meeting to accept the Wages Board aw-ard in connection with basic rates for new entrants and appointments to the service, not regarding that decision (as a correct reflex of members’ opinions.
