FORECAST FOR TO-DAY. HEAVY RAIN TO CONTINUE. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Feb. 2. The following is the Government Meteorologist’s forecast for twentyfour hours, issued to-night: The present indications arc for strong west to south-west winds and cloudy, unsettled and squally weaher. Rain is probable generally, and will be heavy in districts* with a westerly aspect. The barometer is falling, but will rise shortly.
