ST. KILDA MURDER
SUSPECTED MAN ARRESTED FORMER EMPLOYEE OF MURDERED WOMAN. FOUND IN WEAK CONDITION. Received December 24. 10.5 p.m. MELBOURNE, Dec. 24. Henry Tacke. a middle-aged man, was arrested at Sorrento on a charge of murdering Mrs Currcll, who was shot by a man while he was talking to her at the door. The police surprised Ta eke, who wa s partially covered in sand, in which he had scooped a sleeping place. He was in a very weak condition. His visits to a local store to buy food aroused suspicion and led to his arrest.’ Mr« Currell was formerly employed by Tacke. but left him and started business. He constantly worried her to return, and it is alleged that her refusal ended in the shooting.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
