UNION CLUB The final of the four-oared trophy was rowed last evening between A. Gurney and A. Moss. After a most exciting finish Gurney won by half a canvas. The following were the crews: —A. Wednesday evening saw a fitting finale to the time-honoured Fitzberbert Fours, when crews stroked by K. Everett and C. V. Thurston respectively, fought out a magnificent race for supremacy. The contest was fought every inch of the way and ended in Thurston s crew winning from their rivals by two feet. The competing crews were as un der:— C. V. Thurston (str.), A. Binley, F. Boyd, R. Seal (bow). K. Everett (str.), W. Adams, A. Thompson, A. Barnes (bow).
