ST. JOHN'S HILL

ANNUAL PRIZE-GIVING. The annual break-up ceremony was held at St. John’s Hill sido school on Friday morning last. Mr W. Bruce presided over a good attendance of parents and friends. A programme of songs and recitations was given and each item was heartily applauded. Speeches were made by Messrs W. Bruce, John CouH and R. Irwin, in which reference was made to the good work being carried out by Miss Wood. The prizes were distributed by Mrs Lewis Bassett, each pupil recivnig a book.
