BANK HOLD-UP
SEQUEL TO NEWMARKET AFFAIR ACCUSED A BIGAMIST. [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Dec. SI. Albert, George Marshall, aged sixty, who caused a sensation at Newmarket by bolding up the manager of the Savings Bank with a. revolver, was charged at the Police Court to-day with bigamy. He pleaded guilty. He was charged that, having married Isabella Hatcher at Auckland, on March 30, 1916, he did go through n, form of marriage on June' 22, 1925, with a widow whose name Mr Boynton, S.M., ordered to be suppressed. Marshall was committed foi sentence. The window stated that accused told her that he was a widower and' had a farm at Henderson. She separated from him two months after mar. iage. Accused talked about revolvers and frightened her. One day she found in a. bag beside, the bed a, revolver load-, ed in all tho chambers but one. „ Marshall is now in custody on the hold-up charge. Ho will appear at tho Supreme Court this week for sentence.
