MUNICIPAL PICTURES. DOUBLE-FEATURE PROGRAMME. . This evening one of the main attractions at the Opera House will be the , drawing of the Wanganui Rugby gigantic art union. In addition will be screened a special double-feature programme, headed by “A Kiss in the Dark.” In this picture the chief honours go to Adolphe Alenjou, who gives another of his 'admirable woman killing roles. Lillian Rich and Aileen Prjngle are the two leading ladies, so called, for they have equal roles. Kenneth Mac Kenna, as the good natured, good looking husband also plays a good part. Among the others in tho notable clast are Ann Pennington and Kitty Kelly, two girls from the Ziegfeld Follies. “A Kiss in the Dark,” is a comedy-drama of delightful, irresistible humour, as luscious as a dew drenched peach and as tingling as electricity. It tells about a young wife who was fond of flirting and of a man who promised, never to have (anything more to do with women. Then came tho kiss in the dark and well—yes, there are complications that will make cveryono happy. Frank Tuttle is the director and proves his ability in handling this comedy from Frenderick Lonsdale’s celebrated stage success “Aren’t We All.” Tho second feature is

“North of Nome,” a thrilling romance of the Yukon actually filmed in Alaska. The box plans arc at Messrs H. I. Jones and Son’s.
