BRITISH STUDENTS SETTING OUT COMING TO NEW ZEALAND. IMPERIAL UNIVERSITY COOPERATION. Received Dec. 20, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Deo. 18. The High Commissioner farewelled the British University students’ delegation at Canada House prior to starting out on an Empire tour. The delegation includes -hlay, president of the National Union of Students, and con vrner of the Imperial conference of students in 1924, whence the project originated; McDonald, treasurer 'of Pic International Confederation of b iudent.% and president of the »Sco’.Students’ ! nion; Molscn. presi lent oi the Oxford Union; Paul lieed. Loudon L niversity, who recently returned from oouth Africa with a similar dele The purpose of the mission is to prwnGt- university co-operation and camaraderie throughout the Empire. Leaving Liverpool on January the delegation spends two months in Canada, going thence in the Aorangi to Auckland, where they will arrive in time for the inter-Varsity tournament, and spending a. month visiting and debating with New Zealand uni varsities.
