ASTOUNDING STORIES

AUSTRIA’S IMPENDING FATE COUNTRY TO BE CUT UP. IMPENDING COUP D’ETAT. LONDON, Dec. 13. The “Westminster Gazette’s” ATenna correspondent says that, tho newspapers aro publishing stories of an impending coup d’etat. The police are searching trains on tho Hungarian frontier, and examining all buys from 10 to 13 years to prevent the reported visit of tho youthful ex-Crown Prince Otto, but it is believed tho rumours are merely a red herring across the trail of the Archduke Albrecht, who is the real leader of the Royalists. If tho movement eventuated Austria, would bo divided, Albrecht becoming King of Hungary, taking Vienna, and Bavarian Crown Prince Rupprecht annexing Upper Austria and the Salzburg portion of the Tyrol, while Signor Mussolini, who is reported to have sanctioned the scheme, would seize the remainder of tho Tyrol on behalf of Italy.
