CONTESTS AT TAKAPUNA [Per Pre»s Association.! AUCKLAND, Dec. 14. At the motor-cycle races at Takapuna there were 5000 spectators. The Takapuna Handicap, seven miles, resulted: H. V. McCready (7 h.p. Har-ley-Davidson), 20secs., 1; D. Managh (7 h.p. Harley-Davidson) ssecs., 2. Time, 6.22. Managh made the fastest lap of the day, completing the circuit in 54 2- Coleman did not compete. President’s Handicap, 10 miles.— C. Goodwin (2| h.p. A.J.S.), 65secs., 1; 11. H. Moller (3$ h.p. Norton), 35secs, 2. Time, 10.5 3-5. The latter completed a lap in 54 3- probably the best performance of the meeting. Great Northern Handicap, 12 miles.— C. Lowe (7 h.p. Zenith), 45secs., 1; H. V. McCready (7 h.p. Harley-Davidson) 35sccs., 2. Time, 10.28 2-5. Final Handicap, 5 miles. —McCready 1, Managh 2. Time, 4.25 3-5.
