AIRSHIP INVENTION
NEW ELECTRICALLY HEATED GAS . REVOLUTIONARY DISCOVERY L BERLIN, Nov. 20. The'*German chemists, Peters and Schlinbohm, have invented a process enabling airships to be filled with electrically heated gas, the volume of which is automatically reduced en route by cooling, and prevents the necessity of discharging gas as petrol is depleted. Professor Eckener claims that the invention will revolutionise aeronautics, increasing security.
