Tn view of the continued hold-up of the Ulimaroa in Sydney it now appears that the New Zealand cricket team will have to leave Wellington by the Makura on Tuesday, November 24. This would necessitate the assembling of the team in Wellington on the morning of November 24, unless a match is arranged against a Wellington eleven, in which case the team would arrive there on November 21. In the event of the departure of the team being delayed, the match against Newcastle may be affected. It may be necessary for the council to suggest that this match be •played at Uni end of the tour*
