CONTROL OF BUTTER PRICES
AN AUSTBALIAN SCHEME MELBOURNE, Nov. 4. The conference of repreesntatives of the dairying industry in all the States adopted Mr Paterson’s scheme for butter stabilisation, providing for a voluntary levy on every pound of butter manufactured in the Commonwealth to enable payment of a bonus of threepence on every pound of butter exported.
