AMUSEMENTS, MEETINGS, ETC.
HIS MAJESTY’S. "THE ROARING ADVENTURE.’’ (Universal.) “The Roaring Adventure” is a Universal woolly western, with lots of pep and red blood in the system. It is the graphic story of a good looking young westerner who, returning to the home ranch from College, finds that the cattle rustlers have been eating into the family estate. As he is unknown to the desperadoes, he plans to get in with them, and then floor them flat, and so with the aid of his faithful cowboys he gets to know exactly who the thieves are, and locating them at their nefarious games; there is a grim gun battle out of which the hero conics strong, and at the same time wins the right girl in just the way she wanted to be won. 11 Robbery Under Arms” holds the attention to the black-out, and the usual supports arc quite up to standard. The candidates made speeches from the stage last night and received excellent hearings, and Mr Mason is to be congratulated on the excellent ar-
rangements for screening the election results.
