WALL STREET EXCITED
A REMARKABLE BOOM SPECTACULAR OUTBURST IN STAID STOCKS NEW YORK, Nov. 2. Wall Street’s plutocratic stocks, namely, those selling at 200 dollars and upwards per share, behaved like wildcat oil issues to-day when the Stock Exchange witnessed one of the most remarkable speculative outbursts in its history. This rapid advance in high-priced issues, following on the heels of the recent boom in the market, brought the public by thousands into the market. Many small speculators who lost money in some of Jiast week’s declines returned hoping to recoup themselves. Optimistic reports of business conditions and declarations of extra dividends by large corporations continue to stimulate trading.
