A CLERK PLEADS GUILTY [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 21. Albert Charles Thompson, aged 25, employed by the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Company, pleaded guilty this morning to eight charges of stealing £312 from the firm, and was committed for sentence. The evidence showed that accused had adopted a clever system of making out false credit slips in the name of a fictitious client.
