AN AFFAIR AT BUNBURY
STRIKERS RAID STEAMER PERTH. Oct. 20. The strikers again raided the . learner Apolda at Banbury. They raked out the fires, drew the firebars and dropped two anchors. There was a heavy swell at the time, and only the shallow draught of the vessel prevented it from being extensively damaged. Arrangements had been made on the previous day for the engineers to get up steam and every precaution was taken to prevent the seamen interrupting, but late in the afternoon the strikers rushed across the deck an achieved their object.
