FORECAST FOR TO-DAY MODERATE TO STRONG WINDS [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Oct. 20. The following is the Government Meteorologist’s forecast: Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly to northerly winds, northwards of New Plymouth and Castle Point, and freshening northerlics elsewhere. Weather fair, warm and hazy generally, but cloudiness increasing, with change to follow, particularly in western districts. The barometer has a falling tendency.
