AMUSEMENTS, MEETINGS, ETC.

HIS MAJESTY’S FINAL SCREENINGS From start to finish, both Rin-Tin-Tin, the marvellously sagacious canine and Louise Fazenda, give “The Lighthouse by the Sea” depth, virility and reality because of their vivid interpretations. The dog thinks as clearly and effectively as humans do, and his unusual prowess saves his master from drowning, and causes him to jump into the breach, -when the treachery of Jia bootleggers almost, brings disaster upon the lighthouse and its keepers. Finally, he brings two loving hearts together—for happiness. A wonderful story of Paris is unfolded in the film “While Paris Sleeps,” and those delightful kiddies, Our Gang, in “Seeing Things” kept, the audience in roars of laughter. A splendid programme deserving of packed houses every night. Book at Upton's till 5 p.m., then at the Rialto till 6.30, after ring 2863. Complete Change To-morrow. “The Tom-Boy.” There’s a great cast in the main attraction at His Majesty’s Theatre tomorrow, Wednesday, evening, Dorothy Devore, Herbert Rawlinson, Lee Moran, Harry Gribbon, Virginia True Broadman and Helen Lynch. The second big attraction, “Tho Galloping Dude,” starring Franklyn Farnum is bound to be popular because it is a novelty comedy Western. Then there are two comedies, The International News Reel and a cartoon. The plan is now on view at Upton’s where reservations should be made. MEETING AT BULLS TO-NIGHT. To-night, Tuesday, Eev. Rugby Pratt M.A., speaks at Clifton Hall, Bulls, on the moral and economic aspect of the liquor question. Hear him so that you may have a solid reason for striking out the two top lines on Wednesday, November 4. Thursday Mr. Praft will lecture at Sanson Hall. Questions invited at all meetings.
