(From the “Chronicle’s” Special Correspondent.) The following is the result of a medal match played on Saturday last: —A. Christensen, 98 (26), 72; W. P. Wallace, 105 (32), 73; E. Parsons, 83 (9), 74; J. C. Gray, 111 (34), 77; H. Bradmore, 91 (12), 79; G. JJughes, 92 (13), 79; Jos. Pepper, 105 (20), 79; J. McArthur, 109 (28), 81; R. P. Palmer, 99 (17), 82; A. Sherborne, 108 (26), 82; F. Johnston, 96 (12), 84; J. H. Pepper, 104 (20), 84; C. Handley, 104 (20), 84; F. Train, 110 (26), 84. The final of the men’s intermediate championship was played, when G. Hughes met C. Handley o»or 27 holes. Hughes won with 9 up and 8 to play. In the junior championship final, A. Christensen defeated W. P. Wallace 2 up and 1 to play, this match also being over 27 holes.
The final of the ladies’ junior championship was played between Mrs Dallison and Aliss Aluir over 18 holes, the former winning 4 up and 3 to play. The season will be brought to a close at the end of this month.
