BIG WHALER ARRIVES [Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Oct. 18. The Sir James Clark Ross, the mother ship of the Norwegian whaling fleet which operates in the Ross Sea, arrived to-day from Sandefjord, Norway, after an uneventful passage. Captain Nelson is in command. The steamer called for water, and proceeds south in two days’ time to coal and collect the chasers. Mr E. Wiig, Norwegian consular agent for Southland, is a passenger by the ship.
