TRAINS IN COLLISION
SEVERAL CARRIAGES TELESCOPED. 18 KILLED AND 25 INJURED. Received Oct. 17, 5.5 p.m. ROME, Oct. 16. A Alilan message reports that passenger and goods trains collided during the night outside Pavia station. Several carriages of the fn«-r. < _• were telescoped. Sixteen persons v. killed and twenty-five injured.
