WAGES ON RAILWAYS
MEN WANT INCREASE. EMPLOYERS SEEK REDUCTION LONDON, Oct. 15. The Central Wages Board failed t« agree to the railwaymen’s demands for increased wages amounting to £45,000,000 yearly, and the railway companies’ claims for a reduction owing to the receipts in 1925 being £3.000,000 less than in 1924 were referred to the Disputes National Bohrd.
