BRADFORD MEN GO OUT PROTEST AGAINST REDUCED WAGES LONDON, July 24. Fifty thousand wool and textile workers have struck in Bradford against the reduction of 5 per cent, in wages. The strikers ignored their leaders’ instruction to allow the firms where wages were not reduced to continue working. They rushed the mill gates and forced the operatives to edase work. The police frustrated several attempts. Stones were thrown and windows were smashed, and two police were slightly injured.
