COMBINED BUYERS LTD.

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 24. A lengthy meeting of Combined Buyers was held to-day. Air AV. S. Bennett presided and about 150 shareholders were present. Four resolutions wore tc be considered, but only one was discussed. This was Mr. Wallis’, who spoke nt considerable length on the affairs of tho company. Messrs Wallis and Tavlnr had nr argument, after which Mr I.’. ‘ ham moved that the company go into liquidation. Then, if shareholders I* - sired, they could start afresh. After further discussion, during which it was stated a largo amount of capital was at stake, (he motion was lost, and it was decided to adjourn.
