ALLEGED MURDER

FORGER IN THE TOILS. SYDNEY, July 23. Alexander Clarence Thomas has been arrested in connection with the death of Bridget Enright, and charged with murder. He, was remanded. Thomas was living under the name of Maxwell. It is alleged that he. uttered false cheques. He was arrested for that reason, and search revealed that he was Thomas. A Melbourne message of September 9 last year reported that the body of Miss. Bridget Enright, aged 69, missing from her home near Bcnalla since July 27, was found partially buried, in circumstances indicating foul play. Miss Enright lived alone, on her farm. The last time she was seen she was talking to a young man near her home, which, when examined, bore evidence of having been robbed, though there were no signs of a struggle. Her body was discovered a short distance from the house.
