Th.- attitude of th'* Railwaymen’s Fnion executive towards the propo.-ed labour alliance is defined in a stale ment published in the Railway Review, wherein the executive, while agreeing in the aim of the proposed alliance, is >lill firmly of the opinion that unless a complete understanding is obtained on the lines the executive previously indi-i-nte-1 such alliance is bound to encounter internal difficulties. Therefore, it considered the joint sub-committees should again reconsider f he whole pro position, keeping in mind lhe imoortant factors which are essential to the iuturc well-being of the alliance.
