(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON. July 22. After hearing representatives of the tobacco trade, the Chamber of Commerce passed the following resoloutici That this Chamber, being convinced that the interests of the. retail tobacco trade arc being detrimentally affected by the amount of illegitimate trade now taking place as the result of the ineffectiveness of the present law to suppress after-hour sales, is of opinion that the Government, should enact, immediately the legislation necessary to afford law-abiding traders the measure of protection which they have the right to expect.
