THE DAYTON TEST. NEW YORK, July 19. The judge at Dayton agreed to ac eept affidavits giving an outline of scientific evidence on evolution for the* purpose of completing the record of the case on appeal to the Higher Court. The proceedings were adjourned till Monday, when all that remains to be done is to hear argument and sentence poor Scopes. The judge wanted to have his pic lure taken with Bryan on one side and Darrow on the other, but Darrow sourly declined.
