Volunteers engaged in essential services have boon demobilised. CHINESE FIRE ON FOREIGNERS Received July 20. 10.45 p.m. (Reuter) PEKING, July 20. A wireless from Luchow-Szeohuen states that two vessels escorted by H.M.S. Teal from Chuning arrived to embark foreigners and were fired on by Chinese troops. The Teal replied. There were no British casualties.
