Lambs.—Canterbury mediums, North Island seconds, 11 5-Bd. Frozen Beef.—Australian hinds, s|d. Argentine fores. 31d; hinds, Gd. Uruguay fores, 3-fd; hinds, 7Jd. Others unchanged. Messrs Levin and Co.. Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated July 10, 1925: Frozen meat quotations (prices on a ‘ ‘delivered’’ basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls, etc..). Down lambs, 28/42’s, per lb: best North Island, 28/42’s, llld per lb; ordinary North Island, 28/42’s, 11 per lb; second quality lambs, 115-8 d per lb: best North Island wether sheep. 4S/64’s, 7i(d per lb: best North Island wether sheep, 64/72’s, 7d per lb.; ordinar North Island wether sheep, 48/G4’s 7Jd; North Island ewes, 48/64’s, 5 l-8d per lb.; do., 64/72’s, 5d per lb; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220’s, 41d per lb. The market for lamb is steady; mutton upward tendency with better demand.
