GIGANTIC AUCTION SALE OF CARPETS AND CUTLERY. Messrs Sharpe, North and Co. will conduct a gigantic auction sale to-day and to-morrow at I o’clock, in their Guyton Street auction rooms, under instructions from the owner, who has just landed the goods ex s.s. lonic. They will offer a fine line of carpets, stainless cutlery, typewriters, clocks and watches, and bicycles. There are I many other lines on the catalogue, full | list of which will be found in our auction columns. The owner has given instructions that everything must be sold. Goods will be on view from nine o’clock to-day. A unique opportunity to purchase some really good Jersey stock is offered Iby the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-oper-ative Distributing Company, Ltd., who are bolding an unreserved clearing sale of Mr Farnworth’s selected Jersey herd at Kai Iwi. on the 16 inst., particulars of which appear in our advertising columns. These cows arc in good condition and close to calving. Mr Farnworth has been breeding from good I foundation stock, anil has kept only ' the very best producers, so that intend- ! ing purchasers may buy with every confidence at the dispersal sale.
