The Congress of the National Vnioi of Railwaymen at Southport passed : resolution deploring the present weak ness in the trade union movement, ow ing to tho numerous sectional over lapping unions, and declaring that th. time had arrived for a consolidatioi of forces to ensure the workers : united front.
