ATTENDANCE PROBLEM LONDON. June 29. Tn the House of Commons, replying, to questions in regard to the attend ance at the Empire Exhibition, Sir 11. Samuel said that the exhibition author ities informed him that the number of visitors in 1921, when the price of ad mission was reduced after live in the evening was insufficient to warrant its reint reduction. The average daily attendance from May 15 to Juno .15 was 60,565, the highest and lowest figues being 243,292 and 33,944 respectively. Corresponding figures last year were: Average. 162,403; highest 32.1,332; lowest 25,784. Ho understood that the exhibition authorities were devoting as much of their resources as possible to publicity.
