NO LIGHT IN SYDNEY
POWER PLANT BREAKS DOWN SYDNEY, June 26. During a heavy thunderstorm last evening the city and suburbs «w(Jre plunged into darkness following on a heavy explosion at the Pyrmont power house, which wrecked two switchboards and claused other damage. Several electricians were temporarily disabled by the shock, but none was seriously injured. The cause was the breakdown of one of the feeding cables. Power wms quickly restored in the city, but some of the suburbs remained in darkness for hours.
