A NEW PICTURE OF BULGARIA RUTHLESS TYRANNY 1000 TORTURED AND POUNDED TO DEATH LONDON, April 30. Messrs Wedgworth Mac Kinder, and Malone, who visited Bulgaria recently, report that after the exprosion in Sofia, lorries left the prisons during the night taking batches of prisoners to the country to be shot. The Government iwhich came into power through a series •of murders, beginning with the assassination of the Premier Staniboulisky in •1923 has been quilty of ruthless tyranny ,in murdering political opponents. Many .thousands have been tortured, strangled and pounded to death. This will surely arouse a volcanic upheaval. • They urge the British and American publics to protest agamst executions and imprisonments without trial.
