DOMINION CONFERENCE NEXT WEEK I Following arc remits to come before the conference of the Pharmaceutical Society next week:— “That conference recommends the Pharmacy Board to conisdcr and report upon the legal position with regard to unregistered practitioners, herbalists, etc.”—(Auckland Division). “That conference considers it desirable for chemists to take an active interest in local affairs; divisions being advised to endeavour to place a chemist on hospital boards, councils and committees. ’’ —(Auckland Division). “That conference recommends an addition to the Code of Ethics as follows:—Every chemist commencing business is recommended to make himself known to the pharmacists in his immediate neighbourhood with a view to tbeir future good relations.”— (Auckland Division). “That the dispensing committee ba asked to set up a method of pricing household remedies when specially compounded. ’' —(Wellington Division). “That, inasmuch as the invariable marking of prescriptions is attracting considerable attention from the public, in future prescriptions be marked only when the price charged is a variation from the list price.” —(Auckland Division). “That in all eases where a prescription is dispensed for the first time it is the duty of the chemist to hand th© original back to the patient.
