MAGISTRATE’S COURT LENGTHY SITTING (From Our Own Correspondent) The ordinary sitting of the Magistrate's Coiyt was held on Tuesday afternoon. MrR. M. Watson, S.M.. | presided, and with him on the bench ■ was Mr .las. Bull. J.P. In the ease, Defence Department I (Staff Sergeant Donnelly) v. Robert : William Gillon, for failure to register for military service, defendant pleaded i guilty and was convicted and ordered to ' pay costs amounting to 255. Lou Framer, charged with riding a i bievele on the footpath, was convicted , and fined 10s with costs 7s. i Judgment for plaintiff by default was ] given in the civil case, L. C. Jennins i v. Loe Smith, claim £2 2s. The remainder of the afternoon, and ■ over two hours in the evening was ■ taken tip with the hearing of the case K. M. Hammond v.
