DEATH OF DISTINGUISHED AIRMAN. Received Fehruarv 25, 9.35 p.m. VANCOUVER. Feb. 24. At Camp Borden. Ontario, FlightLieutenant J. H. White and FlightOfficer R. H. Cross were killed when their machine collided in mid-air with a ’plane piloted by A. L. Morfee, who escaped unhurt,. Flight-Lieut. White was one of the premier airmen of the Great War. and had a record for bring--1 ing down the greatest number of enemy I machines in the shortest time.
