Announcement is given in our advertising columns to-day of the unreserved sale of i(r W. D. Hun P’s Bainfield Romney sheep stud. This is one of the best- known studs in the Dominion, and in past years breeders from all parts of the Dominion, and from as far afield as South America, have drawn upon the flock for foundation •sheep. One of Mr Hunt’s clients recently wrote in connection with a stud ram he purchased: “He has done well himself and* has thrown such a fine, even type of good lambs that I would like to get the breed into my flock by purchases of ewes.” Full particulars can be had from the auctioneers, Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., Wanganui or Invercargill. TJjere is a special reference of interest to North Island breeders. MR. S. T. REYNOLDS’ SALE TO-DAY. John Coull gives particulars in our auction columns of this issue of Mr. Reynolds’ sale, which is to take place at his residence. Head’s Road, opposite Steel Pipe Works, round the corner from Guyton Street Extension, today (Saturday), beginning at 1.30 p.m. The catalogue is an interesting one, and includes a really first-class piano by Haake, noted for its beautiful tone, a good gramaphono in oak and records, an Old English mahogany afternoon tea table. Every room is covered with first-class lino. The whole of the furniture is sound and in excellent condition. There is also a splendid collection of tools, a lady’s bicycle equal to new, and a Coldwell lawn mower which cost £8 10s. Those in tersted will find it to their advantage to attend.
