RUSSIAN CREDIT

COMPLETELY DESTROYED SEQUEL TO SOVIET RULE. LONDON, Sept. 30. Mr. Patrick Hannon and Sir P. Dawson, M.P’s., have returned from a tour of the Baltic countries on behalf of the Industrial Group. They state they found everywhere immense openings for British trade. Regarding Russia, Mr. Hannon declared that the position is that not a single industrial or financial organisation in any of the countries bordering on Russia would give Russia one day’s credit except on a strictly cash basis. Statesmen, bankers, and business men were unanimous in declaring that under the existing regime Russian credit had been completely destroyed.
